Happy First Day of School

It was such a joy to welcome back all of our Floyd falcons this morning! Thank you for helping us have a smooth arrival this morning! All students have had breakfast and are now in their classrooms getting to know their teachers and classmates. We are off to a wonderful start!

Let's Prepare for Dismissal

As we prepare for first-day dismissal, please remember that temperatures will be high and pickup lines may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as our staff works carefully to ensure every student is dismissed safely to the correct adult or vehicle.
Please note the following dismissal locations:

  • Pre-K and kindergarten students will dismiss through the library door.
  • Students in grades 1–5 will dismiss through the main doors.
Dismissal will become quicker and more efficient as students, families, and staff become familiar with the procedures throughout the week. For everyone’s safety and to keep traffic moving, please remain in your vehicle and do not leave your car unattended in the pickup lanes.
